Honey trap case: ‘Gym Raghu’ arrested

Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths on Friday arrested Raghavendra alias Gym Raghu, one of the prime suspects in a honey trap case, from a resort in Devanahalli near Kempegowda International Airport.

Raghu, a gym instructor from Mandya district, was in the news after his eyes were gouged out in 2011 by relatives of his former wife. He has been on the run since June 20, after three of his associates were caught red-handed while collecting ransom from a a city-based doctor Chandrashekhar (67). The police suspect Raghu of luring businessmen and blackmailing them. Another suspect Kannada film star Nayana Krishna is on the run.

Raghu fled to Hiduvalu village in Mandya along with his fiancée Latha.
