HC refuses Anbazhagan's plea to act as intervener or assist SPP

The Karnataka High Court on Thursday denied permission to DMK leader K Anbazhagan to assist the Special Public Prosecutor in proceedings of the appeals filed by AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa and three others against their conviction in the disproportionate assets case.

Justice C.R. Kumaraswamy passed the order in this regard while dismissing the application filed by Mr. Anbazhagan.
