Vijayapura’s Gol Gumbaz will be among the 18 monuments and sites that will be picked by public sector units (PSUs).

According to a Press Information Bureau (PIB) release, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (independent charge) Mahesh Sharma, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, said State Trading Corporation Ltd. has come forward to adopt the monument.

It is among the 14 PSUs that have come forward to adopt monuments and world heritage sites declared as of national importance under their corporate social responsibility in the public private partnership model for conservation, restoration and environmental development, the release added.
