After years of delay, nearly 5,000 sites in Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout near Kengeri will be available for the general public by September second week.

There are 2,000 sites of 30 X 40 sq feet, which will cost of Rs 23.25 lakh. The BDA has reserved 1,000 sites (20 X 30 sq feet) for the Economically Weaker Sections. These will be available at a subsidised price of Rs 5.23 lakh.

Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) officials said all preparations had been made to call for allotment of sites. The notification is expected to be out before the Ganesha Chathurti festival.

However, sources said, the BDA is yet to carve out these 5,000 sites.
