Encroached govt. land recovered

Officials of the Bangaluru district administration conducted simultaneous raids in four taluks across the city and recovered 25.3 acres of government land which were encroached upon. District Commissioner (Bengaluru Urban) V. Shankar said the raids were conducted in Bengaluru north, Bengaluru north (additional), Bengaluru south and Anekal taluks on Friday. The value of the recovered land is estimated to be Rs. 19.5 crore, he said.
