A 30-year-old man was arrested on Monday on the charge of causing death due to negligence. He was involved in an accident in which his uncle, who was riding pillion with him on a two-wheeler on the night of December 31, was killed. According to Kamakshipalya traffic police, the deceased Jagannath Rao was riding with his nephew Nishanth Rao when the latter lost control near Nagarabhavi Circle and rammed head on into an autorickshaw. Passers-by rushed them to a hospital where Jagannath succumbed to injuries. During investigation, police found that Nishanth was found drunk.
