Complaint filed before Kempanna panel

March 03, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:31 am IST - Bengaluru:

Days after his request for an appointment with the Governor to seek permission to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was turned down, Bharatiya Janata Party-backed advocate Nataraj Sharma on Monday filed a complaint with the Kempanna Commission.

In the complaint, Mr. Sharma alleged irregularities by the Siddaramaiah government in the re-modified scheme of Arkavathi Layout.

He stated that of the 702 acres of land deleted or excluded from final notification in the re-modified scheme on June 18, 2014, 119 acres had been excluded without the resolution of Bangalore Development Authority or any legal basis.

The BJP has refused to be associated with the complaint. Sources said Congress-backed advocates also approached Kempanna Commission.
