The counselling by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for those who have written the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) could be held about two weeks after the announcement of the results on June 8. COMEDK Chief Executive A.S. Srikanth told The Hindu that COMEDK would have to wait for the first round of CET counselling to be over before they begin counselling.
“Though we don’t consider the II PU results for our ranking, about 26 per cent of those who write the UGET are from the State. As there is a lot of confusion about their results, we decided to postpone UGET result announcement on request of the State government,” he said.
