CM to review drinking water crisis today

Agriculture Minister Krishna Byregowda on Wednesday reviewed the drinking water crisis in Bangalore Rural district that he is in charge of. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who has convened a review meeting on Thursday, had directed all district in-charge ministers to take stock of the situation. Mr. Byregowda said that water is being supplied through tankers in 60 wards in Hoskote, Doddaballapur, Nelamangala and Devanahalli taluks.

He attributed the problem to most borewells becoming defunct.
