Choppers will soon be an option for tourists

Chopper services for the well-heeled tourists visiting some of the best destinations in the State could commence as early as September 2010 after the State Tourism Department signed a memorandum of understanding with the New Delhi-based OSS Air Management.

The MoU was signed on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and Tourism Minister G. Janardhan Reddy, the concluding day of the two-day Global Investors Meet here for offering heli-tourism services. The agreement to offer heli-services was for the heritage circuit connecting the world heritage sites of Hampi and Pattadkal besides offering heli-connectivity to Badami, Aihole and Bijapur.
