CET: Students find biology paper easy

Amidst uncertainty over the validity of the medical entrance test, students, who appeared for the Common Entrance Test’s (CET) biology exam in the morning session on Wednesday, found it easy.

Students said that the biology paper was easy, as most of the questions were straightforward questions. Those who prepared for the medical seats had written the All-India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) on Sunday and said that preparing for that paper helped them answer this paper better. The CBSE students found both the exams very easy, as it was mostly based on their syllabus.

Ishrat Jahan from Chaitanaya School said that she was pinning her hopes on CET to obtain a medical seat and hoped that the apex court would uphold the validity of state entrance tests.

Like her, most students complained about the last minute Supreme Court decision on National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and hoped that the CET will hold good at least for this year.
