The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the results of the seats allotted under the 2nd round of the Common Entrance Test (CET) on Sunday.
With the results being announced a day earlier, many students surrendered engineering seats obtained through the first round of UGCET Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) counselling, as they were three times more expensive. However, some candidates, who were not aware that the modification of option entry closed a day earlier than the schedule, were taken aback.
Second extended round
As the seat matrix for minority medical and dental colleges and deemed universities has not been announced, the KEA will conduct a second extended round for medical and dental aspirants.
PGCET merit list out
The KEA also announced the results of the PGCET for admission to MBA, MCA courses and the merit list has been published on the website.
