Congo national arrested, drugs recovered

The City Crime Branch (CCB) officials, on Thursday, arrested a Congo national and recovered 3.5 gm of MDMA drugs along with eight SIM cards and seven voter’s ID cards from him.

The accused has been identified as Kparagume Nzorosa Glody (24). He was nabbed while he was waiting for clients on Babusabpalya Service Road in Hennur to deliver the drugs.

Initial investigation revealed that the accused was living in the city after assuming a fake identity. He had even forged documents to avail SIM cards. He continued to live in the city even though his visa had expired over a year ago, officials said.
