A 22-year-old passenger of a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus was killed when the bus crashed into a parked pickup truck near Tumkur road on Friday night.

Madhusudhan, who was sitting near the driver’s seat, was thrown on to the windshield with such force that he fell on the road, and died of his injuries. Police suspect poor visibility owing to rainfall may have led to the accident.

MBA graduate ends life

A 28-year-old MBA graduate was found hanging at her residence in Peenya I Stage on Friday.

She has been identified as Madhu, who had moved here from Chitradurga district, and was living with her sister, Latha.

The body was found by Latha, who grew concerned when Madhu did not open the door when she returned from work. She asked neighbours to help her break open the door.

Latha reportedly told the RMC Yard police that her sister had been depressed when she could not get a job in Bangalore.
