A student allegedly committed suicide at Manchenahalli in Gauribidanur taluk of Chickballapur district on Tuesday after failing in the SSLC examination.
The Manchenahalli police gave the name of the boy as VijayKumar (16), a student of Government High School. He went to the school to see his result. They said that Vijaykumar had failed to clear science and social studies. Dejected over this, he reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
