BMTC to start K series services

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is introducing three more routes — K1, K2 and K3 — connecting central areas in the city.

K1 will start at St. John's Hospital and pass through Srinivagilu, Domlur, Indiranagar Police Station, Ulsoor, Trinity Circle, Mayo Hall, Shivajinagar, Vasanthnagar, J.C. Nagar via Mehkri Circle to reach Yeshwanthpur Railway Station.

K2 route will start at Hebbal and pass through Kuvempu Circle, Devasandra, M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, Yeshwanthpur, ISKCON Temple, Modi Hospital, Shankarmath, Havanur Circle, Vijayanagar and reach MCTC bus-stand.

K3 route will leave Basaveshwara bus stand and pass through Vijayanagar MCTC, Sirsi Circle, Chamarajpet, North Road, Basavangudi, Shanthi Talkies, Jayanagar bus stand, Carmel Convent, Shiva Balayogi Ashram, Bangalore Milk Dairy, St. John's Market to reach Koramangala.

A press release said that there will be buses every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10.15 p.m. each day.
