The police have detained one more person in connection with the murder of BJP councillor Srinivas Prasad on Hosur Road on Tuesday.
The suspect, Satish, was picked up in Bovikatti village in Chitradurga district on Friday.
Earlier, five persons, including Bommanhalli Town Municipal Council member Sarojamma, were arrested in connection with the case. Her son, Manju, who is also a suspect, is on the run.
