Biker killed in accident

A 25-year-old rider was killed on the spot while the pillion rider sustained injuries when their bike lost control and hit the median on Nagawara Outer Ring Road near KBE Junction in Banaswadi traffic police limits.

According to the police, the rider, Narsimha Murthy, was a cab driver. His friend, Anand T. (29), was also a driver. The police said that the duo was heading towards KR Puram from Hebbal around 9.30 p.m. when Murthy, in a bid to turn, lost control and rammed the median. Due to the impact of the collision, Murthy was tossed in the air and crashed on the road sustaining grievous head injuries.

Passersby rushed them to Ambedkar Hospital, where Murthy was declared brought dead. A case is registered in Banaswadi traffic police limits.
