Bengaluru youth murdered in Nagamangala

A youth was murdered after he attempted to calm down a group, who were quarrelling for silly reasons with his wife's brother.

The victim has been identified as Kiran (28), a resident of Magadi Road in Bengaluru.

According to the Nagamangala police, the incident occurred late on Sunday at K. Mallenahalli of Nagamangala taluk of the district.

The victim and his wife had come over to his brother-in-law's house to deliver tarpaulin, when he saw some youth quarrelling with him (the brother-in-law). He tried to intervene when, in the melee, the accused persons stabbed him and fled the scene.

Kiran was immediately rushed to the government hospital in Nagamangala. However, he died while he was being shifted to AIMS Hospital in B.G.Nagar, police added.

A case has been registered in Nagamangala town police station and investigation is on.
