Police rescue student from kidnappers

In a swift action, the City police rescued a 19-year-old engineering student who was kidnapped by a gang for ransom from a coffee shop in Yelahanka on Tuesday.

The victim, Ishan, son of a senior executive of a private firm, is a computer science student.

The city police swung into action and formed 10 special teams to comb the area the whole night. Though they managed to rescue the victim, the kidnappers fled.
