BBMP Joint Commissioner threatened by former leader of opposition

Joint Commissioner of Bruhart Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) (Yelahanka Division), Sarfaraz Khan has filed a Police complaint against former leader of the opposition (BBMP), N.R. Ramesh for allegedly abusing and threatening him.

In his complaint at Amruthalli Police Station, Mr. Khan accused Mr. Ramesh demanding a report on laying of OFC cables in Yelahanka. When Mr. Khan refused to do so, stating that it does not come under his purview, Mr. Ramesh allegedly abused him over the phone and said, “not just you but your father also should give the report when I ask for it,” Mr. Khan said in his complaint.

Taking a strong objection, Mr. Khan filed a complaint with the police seeking a detailed probe and necessary action.

Meawhile, Mr. Ramesh clarified that he has not threatened or abused anyone.
