Colourful, dewy and fresh! Flowers certainly have a dreamy quality about them. But these only lack the fragrance of the real thing and nothing else.

A collection of artificial flowers, plants, floral arrangements and topiaries are on sale at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. The exhibition-cum-sale by Kusal Indoor Gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. till July 10.

Netravathy from Kusal Indoor Gardens said the exhibition has a vibrant collection of flowers such as anthuriums, roses, orchids, lilies and poinsettias along with an assorted collection of plants such as bonsai, cherry and maple. While the price of flowers and floral arrangements range from Rs. 50 to Rs. 500, the plants are priced between Rs. 500 and Rs. 10,000.

The centrepiece is a display of the deity Cauvery made almost entirely by flowers as a tribute to the copious monsoon this year.
