Over 100 members belonging to Aam Admi Party were detained by the West division police outside Freedom Park on Wednesday after they tried to lay siege to Chief Minister's residence, opposing the formation of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Six AAP members, who have been on a hunger strike for four days, were on wheelchairs. Accompanied by other AAP members, the protestors set out of Freedom Park towards CM’s residence. However, the police detained the protestors soon after they came out of Freedom Park.

Meanwhile, members of Bharatiya Janata Party, led by the party’s national vice-president B.S. Yeddyurappa, staged a signature campaign in and around Malleshwaram to garner support of the people against ACB.
