A song about their ‘ideal’ world

November 14, 2014 12:40 pm | Updated 12:40 pm IST - Bengaluru:

In the light of increasing cases of atrocities on children, 12 students of different nationalities, along with their music teacher, have composed a song about the “ideal” world from their point of view.

The three-minute-long song, with lyrics in both Kannada and English, has also been performed and recorded by Canadian International School’s student group, Angel Flakes. The video will be released by Kannada actor Upendra on Children’s Day.

Sandeep Boniface, their music teacher, said the song expresses children’s perspective of Children’s Day and their hopes and aspirations. “We want this song to campaign against child abuse,” he said.
