Probe against KV school principal

BENGALURU: The Kendriya Vidyala Sanghatan (KVS) on Monday ordered a departmental inquiry against the school principal who was arrested last week on the charge of sexually harassing a student and later released on bail.

The principal, Kumar Thakur, is accused of lewd comments.

The issue came to light following a call to ChildLine 1098. ChildLine authorities registered a complaint at Sadashivanagar police station. What irked child right activists, teachers and students was that Thakur allegedly went to the school the day after being granted bail and sought to find out who complained against him.
