Four persons were injured after a portion of a four-storey building in K.G. Halli collapsed following rain on Friday morning. All the four injured are from the family that lived in the house. All of them suffered minor injuries.

Police officials identified the injured as Chandpasha, 71, his wife Jamrud, 60, Anjum, 17, and Rafiq, 38.

The injured are undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

Sources said that initially a cylinder blast was suspected, but police later said it was a case of building collapse. They added that the family was sleeping inside at the time of the incident. They were rescued after neighbours alerted the police.
