35-year-old businessman dies as SUV hits median

A 35-year-old businessman lost his life when his driver lost control of the SUV they were in and rammed into a median at Sadashivnagar. The deceased, Kareemullah Shah, died of head injuries on the spot. His friends Nayeem (25), a goldsmith; Javed (23), a student; and the driver were injured.

According to the police, the four are from Andhra Pradesh. They had come to Bengaluru on Sunday night. On Monday, they decided to go shopping when they met with an accident at Sadashivnagar Junction at 10.45 p.m.

Investigation revealed that the driver Shahrukh was not familiar with the city’s roads.
