As many as 3,413 children were allotted seats in private schools under the RTE quota in the fourth round.

The Department of Public Instruction conducted the fourth round following demand from parents, as many RTE quota seats were vacant in schools.

A lottery was conducted for 21,000 seats. Over 15,600 options were entered by parents. Out of the total seats allotted, two were allotted under the special category, 404 under Schedule Caste and 111 under Schedule Tribe.
