‘Yoga demo’ held

A mass ‘Yoga demonstration’ was organised by the Yoga Consciousness Trust (YCT) at the New VUDA Park on Sunday.

Around 300 people participated in the event that marked the observance of Common Yoga Protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, according to a YCT release. Later a symposium on: “Yoga in our day-to-day life” was held in which YCT Editor D. Venkata Rao, former Vice Chancellor of GITAM University G. Subrahmanyam, former Director of the Yoga Institute of Andhra University K. Madhu and Manager of IBM, Visakhapatnam, P.S. Sailaja participated.
