A large number of women quit the YSR Congress and joined Telugu Desam party here on Saturday.
Led by K Danamma, over 60 women joined the TDP in the presence of TDP Urban unit president Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar. They said the promises like loan waiver for women self-help groups, hike in pensions drew them to the party. TD 27 Division official representative B Anand and other leaders were present.
