Woman held on burglary charge in Vizag

A woman who was allegedly involved in burglaries was arrested and gold ornaments valued at Rs.1 lakh were recovered from her.

Y. Ganga (45), who was involved in burglary cases, under various police station limits in city and in East Godavari district, was arrested by crime wing police of IV Town led by Inspector L. Appala Naidu.

Ganga was arrested in a burglary case and released in November, 2013. She again went back to her old ways and committed some more burglaries in the city.

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Ganga and recovered gold ornaments from her.
