The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority will take up development works to provide a facelift to Tuni town and surroundings that are a part of the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region (VMR).

VUDA Vice-Chairman V.N. Vishnu on Thursday announced that funds to the tune of Rs.10 crores would be spent in phases to implement the town development plans and area development in Tuni municipality. He visited the town to see for himself the current status and to assess future needs.

The Vice-Chairman said Tuni town had the potential and resources to become one of the prominent ‘growth centres’ in the extended area of VUDA.
