Joint Collector Pravin Kumar on Wednesday released campaign material on voters’ awareness in the rural and tribal areas of the district.
Being taken up by Nature, a community-based organisation, the programme is designed under the guidelines of the Election Commission. District election officials will also participate in the campaign under Voter Awareness Campaign under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP). Nature secretary G. Hymavathi said they would educate the voters on their rights and the need to cast their franchise in all the segments in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts.
