A couple of passenger trains will be cancelled and some express trains rescheduled from February 16 to 21 due to imposition of traffic and power blocks in view of construction of limited height subways in place of unmanned level crossings between Kotabommali and Tilaru Section of Howrah- Chennai Main line, according to Divisional Commercial Manager P.Ch. Ramu Naidu.
The trains cancelled are: 58525 Palasa – Visakhapatnam Passenger and 58506 Visakhapatnam – Gunupur Passenger on all the three days.
The trains rescheduled are: 12863 Howrah-Yesvantpur express, leaving Howrah on Feb. 15, 17 and on 20, and scheduled to reach Visakhapatnam on the following days, will be rescheduled to leave three-and-a-half hours behind schedule, 18463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti express leaving Bhubaneswar on Feb 16, 18 and on 21, reaching Visakhapatnam on the same day, will be rescheduled to leave one-and-half hours behind schedule, 18047 Howrah-Vasco-de-Gama express, leaving Howrah on Feb. 15 and 20, and scheduled to reach Visakhapatnam on the following day, will be rescheduled to leave one-and-a-half hours late.
Train No. 12254 Bhagalpur-Yesvantpur express, leaving Bhagalpur on Feb. 17, to reach Visakhapatnam on the following day, will be rescheduled to leave one-and-half hours late.
The other trains rescheduled are: 17480 Tirupati-Puri Express leaving Tirupati on Feb 15, 17 and 20 and arriving in Visakhapatnam on the following days, will be rescheduled to leave two-and-a-half hours late, 22860 Chennai-Puri Express, leaving Chennai on Feb 15 to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day, will be rescheduled to leave two hours late, 22604 Villupuram-Kharagpur express, leaving Villupuram on Feb 17 and reaching Visakhapatnam on the next day, will be rescheduled to leave two hours late, 22606 Villupuram-Purulia express leaving Villupuram on Feb 20 and reaching Visakhapatnam on the next day, will be rescheduled to leave two hours late and train no. 17016 Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha express, leaving Secunderabad on Feb 15, 17 and on 20, and reaching Visakhapatnam on the following days, will be rescheduled to leave one hour late.
