People are crazy about cricket but not many know the rules and finer points of the game. Young players need to know the basics, thanks to the slam-bang Twenty20 format that gained a lot of popularity.

To help people understand the game and enjoy it more a cricket coach, John Prasad, has decided to produce a video on the game in Telugu, entitled Master Drives.

The production would commence on March 22. Basics displayed by the children attending his JP Cricket Academy would be viderographed and presented in a manner that could be understood by all, Mr. Prasad said. It would be dubbed into English and Hindi.

Through this video, people would be able to understand that T20 is an entertainment and there were basics that should be followed, he said. Parents of his trainees and others are supporting him in producing the video. Director of Physical Education of Andhra University M. Syam Babu and president of the academy P. Chandrasekhar were also present.
