Two persons were killed on the spot at Subhadrapuram Junction when an Innova Car coming from Visakhapatnam to Srikakulam rammed into a stationary lorry.
Six others suffered injuries in the mishap and they were shifted to the RIMS Hospital in Srikakulam. The accident took place at a time when the district administration is busy conducting Road Safety Awareness Week exposing the lack of proper monitoring of traffic movement on the busy Chilakapalem-Ranasthalam stretch.
