RINL CMD sees bright prospects for realty in Visakhapatnam

Real estate sector will grow well in Visakhapatnam due to the city’s emergence as a prominent commercial and industrial hub, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Chairman-cum-Managing Director P. Madhusudan has said.

Inaugurating a two-day “The Hindu Property Plus Living Spaces 2017” Property Show here at The Gateway Hotel on Saturday, he said exhibitions of the kind would offer a wonderful opportunity to prospective buyers to make their choice and the developers, to showcase properties.

Complimenting The Hindu for organising an exhibition of the kind, the RINL CMD said real estate and housing activity would grow further in the city due to the importance attached to Visakhapatnam. “While the buyers know about various opportunities for investment, the developers can explain the salient features of the properties developed by them,” he said.

The “Living Spaces-2017” show is presented by Shriram Properties, in association with the Peram Group and Mytri Infra.

A range of properties with a total of 15 stalls with six dealing with apartment construction and seven, plots lay-outs, one bank and a real estate consultancy are showcasing their projects.

AP Chambers of Commerce and Industries Federation president-elect G. Sambasiva Rao praised the initiative of The Hindu in holding property shows regularly and said such events would offer opportunities to prospective buyers to find out properties in the area of choice with good amenities and payment options.

He said from the developers’ point of view, they would also get a platform to explain about the common amenities, delivery schedule and unique features of their ventures.

Mr. Rao, who is also managing director of Sravan Shipping, said on the lines of Mumbai, developers should also focus on brand value and maintaining the properties for sometime by collecting corpus funds to assure customers of quality. The show is open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
