The Hindu In School chess competition 2016, scheduled to be held at the Swarna Bharati indoor stadium here on July 17 will have competition in three categories: sub-junior (for pupils studying LKG to third standard); junior (fourth to seventh standards) and senior (eight to 12th standards).
This is an open competition for boys and girls, being conducted in association with the AP Chess Association.
Children participating in the competition have to bring their own chess sets and chess clock.
Snacks will be provided to the participants. They should bring their own lunch.
