The mark sheet at Nandyal reflected the mood of the people and in foreseeable future there was none could be compared with the leadership qualities of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, he said.

He was working round-the-clock with the aim of development and though he did not specifically work for the party his development-oriented approach automatically strengthened TDP, the MLA said.

Even the Kakinada civic election would be one-sided, Mr Ganesh Kumar who was working for the party there said.

Hype uncalled for

It was a positive vote for development and youth voted for the government, BJP MLC P V N Madhav said.

However, the hype created by TDP and YSRC was uncalled for and the election was held in a such a tense atmosphere that any common man would think twice before entering politics, he said.
