‘Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam' was performed with fervour by the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and Pydah Educational Institutions at Sri Saranya Venkateswara Swamy temple premises at Pydah Engineering College grounds at Gambhiram on Sunday evening.

Chief Minister K.Rosaiah participated in the kalyanam and received the blessings of the priests who came from Tirumala to perform the wedding.

Thousands witnessed the celestial wedding. TTD Chairman D.Adikesavulu Naidu, Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao, Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development D. Purandeswari were among a host of VIPs present at the celebration.

Chairman of Pydah Educational Institutions Pydah Krishna Prasad participated. Sadguru K. Sivananda Murthy of Bhimili Anandavanam and Swami Swaroopanandendra Swamy of Sri Sarada Peetham were present.
