The annual Sravana Lakshmi Puja at the Sri Kanakamahalakshmi temple here will commence on Wednesday.
The puja held on every Thursday and Friday during rest of the year will be performed every day during Sravana maasam, till September 1, said Executive Officer of the temple S.J. Madhavi.
It will be performed from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the other days.
Fee is Rs. 250 and the temple would provide the material required for the puja. Interested can contact the temple on 0891 2711725 or 2566514.
MLA V. Ganesh Kumar will inaugurate the puja and also a queue complex provided under a shed constructed on a site adjacent to the temple which was acquired recently.
