‘Specialist doctors will be deployed in Agency’

They will be given good salaries and better amenities: Kamineni

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said the State government was according top priority to tribal people and all out efforts were being made to provide better services to them.

The Minister is on a tour of the tribal areas of the district. He held a review meeting with tehsildars, MPDOs and doctors, on the health situation in the Agency areas at the ITDA meeting hall at Paderu in the district on Monday.

He said efforts were being made to rope in the services of specialist doctors to serve in the tribal areas by giving them good salaries and better amenities. He hailed the doctors serving in the hilly areas for providing their best services in the face of difficult situations.

He called upon the officials to create awareness among Girijans on the need to take care of health and not to neglect disease due to superstitions.
