Sixth body found

Body of GITAM University’s B.Tech. first year student Sainithin washed ashore in the early hours of Friday at the Rushikonda beach.

Five of his batchmates, including three girls, were drowned in the sea on Wednesday when an eight-member group of students went to the beach and moved into the waters at a dangerous spot. While one girl did not get into the water, a male student was saved by the fishermen.

Bodies of five students washed ashore or retrieved from the sea on Thursday. Body of Sainithin was handed over to his parents after post-mortem was performed. All the victims were from Hyderabad and other Telangana districts.
