A large number of depositors who have been cheated of hundreds of crores of rupees by the multi-level money circulating company, staged a demonstration in front of the Collectorate here on Tuesday to mark the 100th day of relay fast they are conducting, demanding payment of their dues.

Initially they performed Paalabhishekam to the statue of Gandhiji in front of the GVMC main office and went on a rally to the Collectorate. At Jagadamba junction they formed a human chain and held up traffic for some time. They joined the relay fast after submitting a memorandum to the Collector.

They paid respects to the depositors who died due to the shock after the management of SIMS closed the company.

President of the SIMS depositors association R. Demudu Babu, secretary G. Srinivas and others addressed the protestors.
