The State-level selection trials for girls for admission into SAAP Sports academies for 2017-18 will be conducted at the District Sports Authority Stadium, Kakinada, East Godavari district, on August 5 and 6.
The selection will be held for gymnastics, judo, weightlifting and athletics.
For gymnastics, judo and weightlifting, the academy centre will be located at DSA Stadium, Kakinada and for athletics the centre will be DSA Stadium in Nellore.
The district level selection trials for Visakhapatnam district was already held on July 17 to 19, and the selected candidates will only go for the State-level selections, according to Visakhapatnam District Sports Development Officer June Gallyot in a statement issued here on Thursday.
