Several public sectors including NTPC and Dredging Corporation of India on Thursday launched several events in connection with Swachh Bharat Week celebrations.
NTPC- Simhadri organised debate among children of employees in Hindi, essay competition for Housewives in Hindi, street plays by executive trainees/employees in Hindi, painting for the students of surrounding schools, cleaning of administrative building, township and plant in association with CISF employees/agencies. Group General Manager A.K. Samanta also participated.
DCIL is organising competitions in painting and essay writing in connection with the weeklong celebrations. Painting and essay competition for school children will be held on September 27 from 10.30 a.m. at DCI head office. Interested students can participate directly.
