Christians take out a procession carrying palm fronds and flowers to mark the Palm Sunday in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Palm Sunday was celebrated by the devout to mark the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

Students from various schools, led by QMB Church teachers, and a large number of women participated. The festival celebrates strewing the path of Jesus at the time of entry with branches of palm or other trees.

All churches saw heavy rush of Christians attending prayers during Easter.

Pamphlets were distributed singing psalms under the leadership of Pastor Rev J Isiah at Maddilapalem and Resapuvanipalem.

Church president K. Devasahayam, secretary Issac and others participated.
