No clue yet in kidnap case

Twenty four hours have gone by and the police are clueless on the alleged kidnap of the 11-month toddler, B. Navadeep.

The toddler was reportedly kidnapped on Thursday from his residence at Pithapuram Colony. The police are verifying all the CCTV footages that they have collected from various locations.

A number of special teams have been constituted to investigate the case. Assistant Commissioner of Police (East) A. Narasimha Murthy said that no vital clue has been found so far and the police have intensified the search. He said that they are making use of CCTVs installed on the NH, also.

Navadeep, son of B. Ram Babu was kidnapped, from his grandfather's house on Thursday. Navadeep had gone missing while playing in the cellar, after his grandfather had gone inside the house. The family members lodged complaint with the MVP police immediately at around 1 p.m. Police are also in search of a woman suspect, a petty vendor who sells wigs, who according to them was moving around the apartment premises during the same time.
