Morning walk held to mark NTPC unit Raising Day

General Manager in-charge of NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station Balaji Iyengar on Monday congratulated the employees for their impressive performance and asked them work hard with renewed vigour to achieve all the milestones set for 2013-14. He was speaking after unfurling the NTPC flag at Sangamam building at Deepanjalinagar township near here on the occasion of Raising Day celebrations.

Mr. Iyengar emphasised that Team Simhadri should meet its commitment towards environment and be a model corporate social citizen. Earlier, morning walk was organised at Deepanjalinagar Township. Among others, Mr. Iyengar, General Manager (O&M) S. Narendra and other officials and family members, CISF, staff and students of Bal Bharati Public School participated.

In the evening cultural programme was organised at Sakuntalam auditorium, in which 20 employees were given away Power Excel and best employee awards for 2012-13.
