Hundreds of PG students, under-graduate students, and house surgeons of Andhra Medical College, GITAM College and Dental Hospital, and members of the Visakhapatnam Bar Association organised separate processions in the city on Wednesday in support of Anna Hazare's fast for introduction of Jan Lokpal bill.

The procession by the AMC and GITAM students commenced at the in-gate of KGH and passed through Purna Market, Mrs. A.V.N. College, and Collectorate before concluding at KGH.

The students raised slogans such as “Anna Hazare - Avineeti Parare” and “Anna Pantam - Aveeniti Antam.” They carried national flags, banners, and placards with Anna Hazare's pictures and slogans demanding an end to corruption.

General secretary of the AP Junior Doctors' Association P. Vijaya Bhushanam and president Rajekar Babu, and GITAM dental college's Ram Sai participated.

In the morning, the advocates took out a rally from the District Courts complex to the Gandhi statue opposite GVMC office in solidarity with Anna Hazare.

Bar association president Habeebullah, secretary Parthasaradhy, vice-president Kalidas Reddy, treasurer Vasu, joint secretary Hari Prasad, Bar Council members B. Narasinga Rao and Krishna Mohan participated.
